Globe Telecom – Poor Customer service

Despite getting ridiculous bills for texts that I’m sure I didn’t consume, I still pay Globe on time. I know that even if I raise this issue to them, they will never get it fixed or even provide detailed information.

Now my Superduo lock up period has been completed and I wanted to upgrade to a higher plan 1799 so I can get the iPhone 5S for a minimum cash out. I agree to pick up the phone in Globe ayala after 7 business days. When the day came, I called up their hotline making sure that the phone is ready for pick up.

The agent told me that it’s ready for pick up. So I went there and was told that there’s no phone and my request for a plan upgrade did not go through since it was not submitted. The agent in the globe centre called the hotline and made me talk on the phone. (apparently, when you do your transaction via the hotline, globe centre could not fix it for you)

The agent I talked to apologised and re-submitted my plan upgrade and phone order. She did not give me any reason why it was not submitted. She advised me to have the phone delivered at my house since it is faster. 5 business days and the unit will be with you for sure. I agreed and waited.
